SIAA provides users with access to this information portal which includes
forums, events, announcements, and marketplace. Unless explicitly stated
otherwise, any new features that augments or enhances the current Services,
including the release of new siaa.org resources, shall be subject to the Terms
of Use. "www.siaa.org" means Singapore Industrial Automation Association
, also known as SIAA
2. PERSONAL AND NON-COMMERCIAL USE
LIMITATION
Unless otherwise authorized by SIAA or explicitly stated , you may not copy,
modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license,
create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software,
products or services obtained from, or through, this website.
3. MEMBERS' CONDUCT IN FORUMS
As a condition of your use of this Website, you warrant to SIAA that you will
not use this \website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these
terms, conditions, and notices.
You agree to use the forum only to send and receive messages and material that
are proper and related to the particular topic. By way of example, and not
limited to, you agree that when using the Forum, you will not:
3.1. Post Advertising &
Promotional Contents
All posts, account names and signatures containing advertising, soliciting and
promotion contents in nature are not allowed in all of SIAA's forums except
under Market Place. They will be removed with/without prior warning by our
Moderators/Administrators.
SIAA aims to build a knowledge base of valuable information contributed by the
community.

3.2. Badmouthing, Slandering and
Personal Attacks
While we allow members to share their experiences, we will not tolerate individuals,
companies or agencies to badmouth or defame other individuals companies or
agencies. If found guilty, the party or parties involved will have it
membership to the forum terminated immediately and banned from being a member
of this forum in the future. Personal attacks on or 'flaming' of fellow members,
consultants and their businesses, moderators or staffs at SIAA will be
similarly dealt with.
3.3. Publish, post, upload, distribute
or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene,
indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
Examples of non-acceptable content or links are:
a. Pirated software
b. Rootkits, key generators, cracks or any piracy and
hacking related software or websites
c. Copy-Righted Music Sites
d. Warez Sites
e. Pornographic Websites
f. Spamming Software
g. Advertise(direct or indirect) or offer to sell any goods or
services for any commercial purpose outside of the 'Market Place' of the Portal
h. Impersonate any person or entity, including, but
not limited to: SIAA official, forum moderator, admin; or falsely state or
otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
i. Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise
violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
j. Upload files that contain software or other
material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of
publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all
necessary consents.
k. Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that
infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary
rights of any party.
l. Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files,
or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation other computers
or data-processing equipment or devices.
m. Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that
you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or
fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and
confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment
relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
n. Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes
or chain letters.
o. Download any file posted by another user of a Forum
that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such
manner.
p. Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or
other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or
source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
q. Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and
enjoying this website
r. Promote or provide instructional information about
illegal activities, promote physical harm or injury against any group or
individual, or promote any act of cruelty to animals. This may include, but is
not limited to, providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and
other weapons.
s. Stalk or otherwise harass another.
t. Collect or store personal data about other users.
u. Use any device, software or routine to interfere or
attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Website.
v. Create multiple user accounts and posing as a
consumer to give false experiences with a company or business.
w. Soliciting or spam the Private Messaging System
(PM) or in the forums.
x. Post threads or start topics which are religious,
political, racist in nature.
y. Intentionally post false information to mislead
other users.
Repeated offence by any member will be deemed as an act of purpose violation of
our Terms of Use and SIAA reserves
the right to ban offenders from using this forums without prior notice.
4. INDEMNITY
By accessing this website, you agree to indemnify and hold SIAA and its
officials, Council Members, administrators and moderators harmless from any and
all claims, demands or other liabilities, including legal fees and costs, that
are made by any third party due to or arising from your use of this Website or
your breach of these Terms and Conditions. If you post material on www.siaa.org,
you may prompt third-parties into making statements about you that may be
defamatory or offensive, even though your postings may be unobjectionable. You
agree not to respond in kind, but to bring these statements to the attention of
the Moderators and Administrators. By posting on www.siaa.org you are agreeing
to hold SIAA, its officials, owner, administrators and moderators harmless and
release us from all claims, demands or other liabilities for any statements or
material concerning you that are posted on the site by third parties, including
by moderators and other volunteers, provided that we avail you with the
opportunity to answer.
5. ACCESS
SIAA retains the right to deny access to anyone who is believed to have
violated the term of this agreement, or to anyone else for any reasons, which SIAA
need not disclose, or for no reason.
6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
This website contains hyperlinks to other websites which are not maintained by
us. We will not be liable for any damages resulting from access to those
websites. Usage of these hyperlinks are entirely at the users' own risk.
7. SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
SIAA will not liable for any errors or interruption in service, whether within
or outside of its control. The users understand that service may be temporarily
unavailable due to maintenance, power interruptions or any other unexpected
causes.

SIAA and M2M logos and product and service names are trademarks of SIAA. All
