Information Automation solutions and products are applicable to many industries and sectors, each with its own special requirements.

 

However, there are many common functions, such as analysis, management of data and generation of alert and reports, which companies have to develop and provide on top of each industry or sector (Please see diagram below for illustration).

 

M2M Technologies Deployment Requirement and Strategy

 

To encourage member-companies to develop M2M solutions or products, SIAA has set up a M2M Service Portal that has the common functions of analysing and managing the data, as well as generating reports and sending out alerts through the public networks.

 

This M2M Service Portal to SIAA is made available to all corporate members. The objective is to help our members to reduce their product development time and lower the development cost for such Information Automation solutions or products.

To encourage member-companies to develop ‘proof-of-concept’ M2M solutions or products, to tap into this emerging market, SIAA has set up a M2M Service Portal that has the common functions of analysing and managing the data, as well as generating reports and sending out alerts through the public networks

 

This M2M Portal to SIAA is made available to all corporate members. (If you are not yet a member of SIAA,  you may download the application form a www.siaa.org to fill up an on-line form to apply). The objective is to help our members to reduce their product development time and lower the development cost for such Information Automation solutions or products,


When the products and/or services are ready for full-scale deployment, members can then migrate the products or services to Commercial Service Providers of their choice. SIAA is also available to provide technical advice to help members in this migration process. Illustrated below, is SIAA’s  3-phase approach to assist members to deploy their M2M services and products.
