Since 1984, TeamTec AS has established itself as a world leading manufacturer of waste incinerators and stripping ejectors. TeamTec products, manufactured by Golar Metal from the early sixties until 1987, are well-known in the marine and offshore industry, and are also used for onshore applications.

On October 23rd, 2018, TeamTec and Kurita Water Industries signed a cooperation agreement for the distribution of Kurita Ballast Water Management System (BWMS). TeamTec provides worldwide sales and marketing of Kurita BWMS, as well as handling project execution, delivery and lifecycle services. The system is IMO G8/G9 approved, and currently in the process of obtaining both revised G8 approval and USCG approval.
